Keep questions general
Questions and recent conversation turns may be processed by OpenAI. Use general questions or fictional scenarios. Do not enter names, student/member IDs, contact information, real EOBs or detailed medical histories. Filters cannot guarantee removal of sensitive information.
Chat and acknowledgement
Adugu does not intentionally persist chat. Questions and answers stay in this browser page’s memory and clear on reload, reset or logout. Ask acknowledgement also stays in memory, survives navigation within this session and clears on reload or logout. Clearing a conversation does not withdraw that acknowledgement. Provider and hosting retention depend on their configured policies; this is not a promise of zero retention.
Account data
When you sign in, your email address is held by the authentication service. Adugu saves your first name, campus preference, your answer about which plan you are on, your acknowledgement and your analytics choice. That plan answer is what you told us; Adugu does not verify enrollment. Optional analytics record broad screens, outcomes and latency bands. Feedback is sent only when you submit it. These records do not include chat, medical details or personal claims. They are linked to your account, so they are not anonymous. The local demo keeps preferences in memory and writes submitted feedback to a local export file.
Retention
Feedback and event records are kept for a configurable 1–30 days, 14 by default, and are then deleted automatically. Authentication and profile data remain until the account is deleted.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself from Account in the account menu. Deletion is permanent and signs you out. It removes:
- your sign-in account, including your email address, in Adugu's authentication service;
- your profile: first name, campus preference, plan answer, plan assignment, acknowledgement and analytics choice;
- feedback and usage events linked to your account.
Some records are outside your account and are not removed by this: security logs kept by the authentication provider under its own retention; emails already delivered, and delivery logs held by the email provider; hosting and AI-provider logs under their configured policies; short-lived, one-way-hashed rate-limit counters that expire within an hour; and, only if an operator set one up, a founder-access or suspension entry for your email address. AI limitations
Adugu can misunderstand a question. If AI assistance is unavailable, Ask uses a more limited reviewed-information fallback. It cannot diagnose, prescribe or recommend treatment. Safety filters do not recognize every emergency. No HIPAA or FERPA certification or GSU approval is claimed.
In an emergency, call 911. Do not delay care for insurance or sign-in.
